ABOUT US

Aligned is a wholly owned Australian family company which was established in November 1969. Since Aligned’s inception, we have prided ourselves in maintaining a professional service to our clients in catering for their needs in the import / export logistics chain. In providing this service we have also maintained a personal touch in that our key “contact personnel”  have been with us for over 15 years.

We have three licensed Customs Brokers, all of whom are accredited by DAFF Bio-Security to perform functions relating to documentation for both non-commodity and a limited number of commodities based products. This accreditation allows us to vet documentation without the need of presentation to DAFF, a saving in both time and money.

Communication with Australian Customs, DAFF Bio-Security, Freight Forwarders and Shipping Lines has evolved from a hands on documentation collection and delivery process to both  EDI and email messaging. Likewise, payments to our business partners in the logistics chain has  evolved from cheque usage to direct deposit. This evolution has made it possible for our office to re-locate from the Sydney Airport precinct to Arndell Park whilst continuing to maintain our high standard of service level to our existing client base and also  providing a local Customs Brokerage for importers and exporters west of Parramatta in the Sydney basin.

For interstate clearances we utilize the Australian Custom’s optional port lodgment facility (OPL). Documentation is processed through our office in Arndell Park, with delivery being handled by our interstate  associates under our direct instruction.  Again this provides you with the one point of contact.
